Terms of use of the CroBioHub online platform

General Provisions

The Ministry of Agriculture, PIN (OIB): 76767369197, Ulica grada Vukovara 78, 10000 Zagreb, in the manner provided for in these Terms of Use, regulates the registration, access and use of the content and data available via the CroBioHub online platform at https://crobiohub.mps.hr.

The CroBioHub online platform represents an interactive and participatory environment for developing a common vision and strategy, cross-sectoral cooperation and interdisciplinary data exchange among stakeholders in the bioeconomy, within which stakeholders will be mobilised, and their engagement in the development of the bioeconomy will be supported.

The CroBioHub is expected to bring together stakeholders from:

  • The public sector (public administration, regional and local authorities, scientific and research institutions)
  • The private sector
  • Non-governmental organisations and
  • Other stakeholders who will participate in the development of the national bioeconomy concept and provide practical advice and up-to-date information to bioeconomy stakeholders.

The platform will provide bioeconomy stakeholders with information on:

  • The bioeconomy (statistical data, strategic acts and legislation of the EU and Croatia, policy implementation measures, funding opportunities, projects, research, innovations, etc.)
  • Activities of thematic working groups 
  • Supply and demand for biomass of agricultural origin (plant, fish and livestock)
  • Collection centres for collecting biomass of agricultural origin (plant, fish and livestock)
  • New and innovative value chains and opportunities for producing value-added products
  • Examples of good practice and improvement of sustainable, circular development, etc.

Responsibility for published content 

The Ministry of Agriculture makes reasonable and appropriate efforts to ensure that the information on this website is complete and accurate, but is not responsible for its inaccuracy or incompleteness. The Ministry of Agriculture is not responsible for any damage or injury that may result from the use or inability to use any part of this website or any content published on it. 

This website also contains third-party information and links to other online content. The Ministry of Agriculture is not responsible for the contents of external data sources to which links on this website may lead. The Ministry of Agriculture is not responsible for, nor does it refer to, the manner and terms of use of such content. 

Modifications  

The Ministry of Agriculture reserves the right to modify, supplement or remove any part of this website at any time. Modifications become effective upon publication on this website or when users are notified of them. 

Protection of personal data

The Ministry of Agriculture collects and processes data pursuant to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and the Act on the Implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (Official Gazette, No. 42/18).

The Ministry of Agriculture implements adequate technical and organisational measures to secure personal data in order to protect it from loss, alteration, and unauthorised access.

Storage periods are defined by legal obligations of the Ministry of Agriculture and other competent authorities.

User obligations

The user is responsible for their e-mail address and must ensure its functionality. By accepting these Terms of Use, the user agrees that the communication in question shall take place electronically.

The Ministry of Agriculture is not liable for the inability to deliver documentation caused by the user due to the non-functionality of their e-mail address, or the inability to access the CroBioHub.

The user shall ensure the technical prerequisites for the seamless use of CroBioHub.

Final provisions

The Ministry of Agriculture reserves the right to amend and supplement the provisions of these Terms of Use, with the obligation to publish the changes on the website a minimum of 15 days before they enter into force.

These Terms of Use shall enter into force no earlier than 15 days from the date of publication on the website of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Acceptance of the Terms of Use

By using CroBioHub, the user confirms that they are fully aware of and accept these Terms of Use.
