The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, together with the Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU), is organizing the National CBE JU Information Day Croatia, to be held on 15 April 2026 at the National and University Library in Zagreb, Ulica Hrvatske bratske zajednice 4, Judita Hall, East Entrance.

The mission of the CBE JU is to advance a competitive bioeconomy for a sustainable Europe. To achieve this goal, the CBE JU finances projects by entrepreneurs developing innovative and sustainable bio-based solutions, focusing on strategic priorities: raw materials, processing, products, and cross-sectoral aspects of communication and environmental sustainability.

This year's public call with a total indicative budget of EUR 170.7 million will cover 13 topics for project proposals and will be open from 23 April to 22 September 2026.

The National CBE JU Info Day Croatia is intended for potential applicants to CBE JU calls from the entrepreneurial and the academia sectors, and its goal is to provide key information regarding the topics of the call, the application submission process, and the project proposals evaluation procedure.
