CROBIOHUB

CROBIOHUB brings together stakeholders from the public (public administration, regional and local authorities, scientific and research institutions) and private sectors, non-governmental organisations, and other stakeholders who participate in the development of the national bioeconomy concept and provide practical advice and up-to-date information to stakeholders in the bioeconomy.

The CROBIOHUB will enable:

  • Connecting stakeholders in the bioeconomy
  • Exchanging information on research and innovation projects in the area of bioeconomy
  • Promoting the principles of cascading use of biomass, circularity, and resource efficiency
  • Developing the biomass market

The CROBIOHUB website provides information on:

  • The bioeconomy (statistical data, strategic acts and legislation, policy implementation measures, funding opportunities, projects, research, innovations, etc.)
  • Activities
    • of strategic working groups within the Standing Committee on Agricultural Research (SCAR) and
    • of thematic working groups within the framework of the BIOEAST Initiative (Central-Eastern European Initiative for Knowledge-Based Agriculture, Aquaculture and Forestry in the Bioeconomy)
  • Supply and demand of biomass originating from agriculture, fishing and forestry
  • Distribution centres for biomass collection
  • New and innovative value chains and opportunities for producing value-added products
  • Examples of good practice, etc.
